Day 4 of Seedling: Check Environments / Plant Seeds
Day 5
Today is the day you will plant into the 1.5” Rockwool cubes if the seedlings have a root 1⁄2” or longer in length. Pay close attention to the details and remember to be gentle with your seedlings.
Check List:
- Soak grodan rockwool cubes in Clonex Solution Mix water for 20 mins. Keep some fresh mix off to the side to re-water the cubes later. Refer to the Seedling Feed Chart.
- Squeeze 40 – 50% moisture from cubes leaving them wet but not dripping.
- Carefully place each seed into the rockwool cube hole root down, ensuring good root to cube contact.
- Peel a small piece of rockwool from the side of the cube and cover the hole.
- Re-hydrate the cubes with that fresh Clonex Mix to ensure good moisture to the root and cube.
- Spray Clone dome lid with R.O or dechlorinated water and replace on the tray, making sure there is a tight seal.
- Double check your environments

- Tweezers
- Complete Clone Dome Kit
- Spray Bottle (To Spray Dome Lid) with R.O or dechlorinated water.
- pH Meter
- 5 gallon bucket
