Day 4 of Clones: Check Environments
Day 4 of Clones
Continue to check environments. We will be repeating days like today for the next 7 days. It all depends when we see roots.
Calus tissue starts to form over the wound (where you cut the clone) around day 4 and continues to “scab” over. Once there is enough calus tissue and the environments are right inside / outside the cube, roots start to develop.
Once the roots start to develop, we wait for them to emerge from the bottoms and sides of the 1.5″ rockwool cube before we do anything else.
Keep staying on those temperatures, and definetely check the PPFD almost daily to ensure the plants are eating correctly!
Check List:
1. Check Environments.
2. Pop lid off clone dome to inspect plants and allow air exchange (30 – 60 seconds.)
3. Make sure lid goes back on tightly.
